Personality;

Kind, affectionate, motherly are only the beginning words to help describe this woman. A rather warm soul, she's always got a smile for her companions and a kind word for who wants it. Raised in the outskirts of old London near the slums, she developed a caring for those around her while seeing all the misery she would run into and hopes to be able to end it all.

She has a tendency to be a little straightforward, but she will never be offensive without thinking things through. In fact, if it doesn't need to be so, she won't even dream of being rude. Keeping her own attitude as friendly as possible, Megumi strives to be someone people can look up to.

However, this isn't to say Megumi's easilly walked over. Living where she has for so long, she's picked up a sense of street smarts and is not at all as helpless as people would probably make her out to be. While not a professional fighter, she can hold her own in self-defense and with some skills learned from her devoted boyfriend, Axl Low, is capable of making sure she isn't messed with. Of course, she'll leave the protecting to him if necessary since she hates fighting.

Making sure that her friends and especially her lover are kept satisfied, Megumi is the kind of person one would hope to keep as a maternal figure in their time of need. And that, is something she hopes to be in time as well.

history;

Raised in the booming musical 70's, Megumi was raised in a normal household- though what the household consisted of was far from normal. Her grandmother, a grey witch from the east, ran an oriental fortune-telling business and raised Megumi to be the inheritor of this legacy.

Being how she was, Megumi really didn't like the idea of using the gifted magic for any sort of offensive use and turned to healing and aiding, hoping to bring good fortune to those she could. She was disallowed from wasting her time with her friends, instead made sure to learn the ways of the oriental healings that she was supposed to inherit. Attempting to live regularly through that, Megumi went to school and lived as all girls her age did, making friends despite her restrictions, trying to fit in and what you may and to hone her abilities. She hoped one day she would be able to use them to help those who were in need and who needed aid from the gang wars around her.

Things changed for her in a surprising way when she found herself ambushed by a couple of delinquents one day when she was walking alone from school, only to be rescued by a chirpy and friendly young man named Axl. While knowing she could have taken them on, (or knowing she could have run away)-- she aided the boy and healed him, and a blossoming friendship developed from then on.

Where Megumi was shy, Axl was bold, where she would stop in doing something because her grandmother had stritctly forbidden her, Axl would show her it was safe to do. Within time, she began to trust Axl and eventually the two entered a relationship that progressed into romance and they became lovers. Axl always supported everything Megumi did and Megumi hoped she could always help Axl-- of course, they needed this without the knowledge of Megumi's grandmother who was strictly against Axl and Megumi being in a relationship with 'a slum dog'-- but she continued to see him until one day, her grandmother [who wished to use Megumi's powers to restore her life]--discovered this and planted a curse on the boy, to 'Never be alone in a time with her'. With that, Axl got thrown into twists and warps in time and Megumi, shattered at her grandmother's treachery, tried to find some way to bring him back.

She missed her lover extremely, to the point that she became bitter against the world which she had wished to protect and for the magics that had taken him away. This bitterness festered in her, making her angry and hateful, but on realising this, Megumi quickly set apon ridding herself of this part of her.

Heading towards an ancient well that was used for purification, Megumi hoped to clear her thoughts, but her grandmother, on seeing this chance to claim the powers she needed to have to revitalise herself [which would be hers if Megumi died], shoved her in-- and Megumi nearly drowned. However, while she was in a near-death state, the hateful entity that had built up inside her made a promise- it would save her and take revenge on her grandmother for taking Axl away, but in return, Megumi would give it a life of it's own and she would look for Axl. Agreeing, Megumi was released from the well and the bitter entity that was the personification of all that was wicked in her, her envy and jealousy, became S-Ko, the "Sadistic Child".

S-Ko moved on ahead, killing Megumi's treacherous grandmother, while Megumi herself remained trapped in her own time, and realised what she had done and allowed to be done, regretting her actions instantly.

S-Ko would search for a body to posess and most likely harm Axl because of all the anger and negative thoughts that had been taken from her-- and helpless to turn this state of events away, she found herself falling victim to nightmares that S-Ko would send to her, causing Megumi intense fright and disturbances. S-Ko eventually ended up taking posession of a weaker boy, Zappa, and Megumi, while not knowing about him, seeks to destroy S-Ko and find Axl before S-Ko destroys him.. and herself as well.
